Founded in 2007, FORAY Consulting was developed out of a commitment to support those who are dedicated to inspired missions. FORAY Founder and Principal, Lauren Glickman has been working with people in high-intensity environments for over 25 years and is known for her practical approach to skill-building. Lauren's niche is helping people develop resilience and build the skills and emotional resources necessary to thrive in highly intense environments.
After completing a B.A. in Geography from Clark University, she served as an Agroforestry Peace Corps volunteer in rural Nicaragua. She went on to earn a M.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences from The Leadership Institute of Seattle with a focus on leadership development, process design, training design and delivery, meeting facilitation, coaching, and conflict transformation. She’s worked with people at all levels of organizations and has herself served as a manager, trainer, executive director, board member, volunteer and organization development consultant.
She currently serves as the Treasurer of the Animals Asia Foundation USA Board of Directors.

"Working with Lauren is transformational. I hired Lauren to provide resiliency workshops for teams of care providers at Seattle Children's Hospital. Care providers included mental health providers, pastoral care, patient and family relations specialists, nurses from ICU and oncology units, interpreters and social workers. The workshops began the process of healing secondary trauma on the individual, team, and organizational levels. Many teams who have attended have begun to shift their conversations from areas of pain, difficulty and strife to ones of compassion satisfaction, joy, possibility, and choice.
